Celebrate the ancestors & honor those who have crossed over. Ritual & silent supper
by John Roesch
At Halloween or Samhain (sow-en) as we call it, we cleanse our collective shadows. Our fears surface and we dress them up in funny costumes and allow them to walk at night. We laugh, we make nervous comments and we celebrate death. The wind howls... the rain falls... and old structures collapse.
Join us on October 31st at 7:00 p.m. when we celebrate with the ancestors and honor those who have crossed over with ritual and a silent supper. Bring mementos of lost loved ones (two legged, four legged, feathered or finned) for the Memory Table and a finger food to share in silence.
