I will say it is up to the individual themselves but with personal experience I will say if it's witch craft your delving into be careful as you must know what you're doing and know everything about everything. Forces are not something to be messed with they're to be highly respected. All I will say is if it feels right for you then follow your heart but you must under no circumstances lose your highest respect for forces and the divine be careful young one I would not recommend practicing anything until you've read deeply into it all. You need to know what steps to take in any religion or any path you follow only leap forward if you know you're ready for it cause some people aren't and i have seen people in bad ways cause they weren't ready for it. All I' am saying is be careful respect is crucial and knowledge is too all the best young one in your new found faith :)

One of the greatest things about Witchcraft is that it's a free reign religion. If you do want to stay Christian but be able tho practise the Craft as well, go ahead, do it. As long as it feels right to you, then sure, go ahead and do it.
Just promise this, NEVER try to mix the two to an extent where you become confused. Keep them seperate. Christianity is against Witchcraft well and truly, I know this through personal family experience.
I say you make your own choices, but don't try to make others for them. I know this may seem different to what I should be saying in your opinion, but there is a force compelling me to write this for you. I feel it may come up in your future.

Check the scriptures again by: Anonymous
Assumption is a dangerous thing. And time and time again, theres someone always having a bash at why someone can't practice their spiritual beliefs/morals unless it in the 'one true way!' NO-one has the right to pass judgement on someone saying their beliefs are evil and/or how they practice it is. And nothing is worse than having someone throw their scriptures and beliefs around as a weapon. To just supposidly prove a stupid point.
It only proves one thing. And that 'hate' is still very much alive and those who do it are so inmature.
If someone claims to be a true Christian then they'd know that they are not allowed to pass judgement on ANYONE, that it's their God who does that. It's disturbing to have to still hear intolerant people slapping around their beliefs like that and pursecuting people like that.
They obviously haven't learnt what their God is asking them to do. Simple Love.
Mediums and forms of divination were used by the disciples in the bible a numerous times and not shunned apon. Saul was one of them.

What is a witch? by: Anonymous
simple put it is someone who uses ritual to connect with the higher powers for a purpose. Can a Christian be a witch? Well have you ever seen or participated in a Catholic High Mass? It is a beautiful Ritual to connect with the higher power(s) for a purpose. So dear Christian, you already are a witch in some senses.
As a Catholic, who has been told by multiple witches that I am one of them, I have found that when they are using god and goddess, my brain can easily fill in god and Mary or Jesus and Mary, or simply "the divine".
If you are seeking more detailed info, I can gladly share my experiences with you on how to be a christian and a "witch". Most of it has to do with how you define the terms within each religion. (I am a cultural anthropologist who focuses on religions so I may be a bit biased)

christian witchery by: Anonymous
according to the bible, which is the foundation of Christianity and specifically the gospels and new testament witchcraft, sorcery, divination, etc are strictly forbidden and those people, among others, will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.
Personally I don't feel that they are compatible at all. Some probably disagree with me but I feel this way about things. If you want to be christian, then do so..but respect it's teachings and follow it. I don't feel that it is respectful of that religion to simply pick what you like and throw away the rest, not to mention how that particular God feels about it. Christianity has very specific views on these things and they are spelled out. You may not agree with it or like it but if nothing else it is the desires of that particular God that his followers refrain from such activities as he alone reserves the right to use such power. That is that Gods right to demand these things and who is anyone to question that?
I let a student go because he wanted to do both and I will tell you what I told him. I will simply not help you break the tenets of that religion and at the end of the day, as I told him, it is simple respect for the beliefs and teachings that I will not help him. I feel you must search within yourself to find out here you truly belong.
