Do You Need A Circle To Cast Magick? by: Ken
The short answer is, no.
Most people do magick without even realizing it. When you're running late for an appointment, and you are concentrating on getting there on time, only to find that you just make it, you are doing magick.
Casting a Circle allows you to create a space to hold the energy you plan to use in your magickal Working. This is especially useful when there is more than one Witch doing the casting, but it can be used by a single Witch as well.
The Circle is also a barrier to keep out anything that might be attracted to the energy you are using in your magick. It's a safe space to work your Craft.
