Face Lift!

If you've been visiting CyberWitchcraft regularly, you may have noticed a change! We've gone through a face lift.

The plain black and white pages that used to be here were just too stark! It was a quick fix to get the website up. I had always intended to mute everything just a little, but I never seemed to have the time.

It was a horrible Catch-22. I didn't have the time to change the look and feel of the site because I was busy writing content, but every time I posted another article, that was just one more page to add to all the others that would need to be redone at some point.

About a week ago, I redesigned the entire look and feel of the site. I had some images in my head that I needed to get out. The result is the new banner that you see at the top of each page.

And well...since I'd shaded the banner, I thought i might as well do the same to the navbar on the left. I also widened it a bit because of the other new element, the RSS feed.

If you're reading this, you either got here because of the September issue of Witch Way, or you've signed up for the RSS Feed. Now you can be kept up to date on everything that happens here at CyberWitchcraft, without having to check!

With the RSS feed, the site lets you know when something has changed, and will take you right to that change, be it a modification, such as the facelift, or some completely new article I've posted.

Don't get me wrong, I want people to come look at the site on a regular basis, but I know you're busy. I figure it's just easier to allow you to set up an RSS feed, and have the site tell you when to look.

Then there's the new image on the home page. That was another image that was in my head, and needed to get out. If you hover your cursor over the image, you'll see that it's called Beltain.

Ok, so Beltain passed several months ago. Now you know why they call it Artistic License! I've been playing with acrylic paint, and I have to say that I'm very pleased with my third attempt at painting.

So now that I've gotten some of the artistic urges out, it's time to add more content. Wouldn't you know it, I've already got something planned.
